"Poetry and science are thought to be diametrically opposed at first appearance. However, it is not the truth. Poetry has the same relationship with science as humanity has with sensitivity. Our historic poetic wealth is a testimony to the fact that our ancestors were well aware of the mathematical structures concealed within poetry. Poems produced in countless variations of poetry serve as examples of this. Poems that are not metre based also have structures, albeit ambiguous ones at times. There can be various reasons for this, which are the subject of study and research. The mathematical representation of poetic emotions is a remarkable and significant undertaking. In this way, we are able to assign numerical values to the aspects that are intrinsic to poems. These numerical figures are unquestionably the first seeds of a scientific study of poetry. This fact - that emotions can be represented numerically - forms the basis of all our actions. We aim at recognizing and analysing significant styles, hidden or obvious, inherent in poetic words and apply them in different contexts for various societal benefits."

"The inter relation between computational poetics and IoT is intriguing in several ways. While computational poetry uses computational technique to analyze, generate or enhance poetic forms, style and structure, IoT can be used in combination for creative and analytical applications like exploring sentiment and expression or augmented story-telling and Experiential poetry. IoT can also be employed to create unique therapeutic experiences which are interactive, personalized and responsive to the user’s emotional state and environment. IoT devices can be used to track child psychology through subtle indications of a child’s mood or activity. Thus IoT finds applications in activities of mindfulness, sensor driven play to inspire creativity and interactive story telling for language development."
